Tazzu WordPress Camp was originally inspired by a group of Tazzu community members (here and here) after a series of Joomla Demo Camps we’d organized (here and here).
For the WordPress Camp, we were expecting at most 35 to 40 people to show up. But now we’ve found out that about 68 people have RSVP’d on our facebook event announcement. We have estimated that more than 70 people will be showing up at The Network Hub. There won’t be enough seats for everyone, therefore to get a seat you will need to arrive early. This event might seem a little crowded, but it is very likely that you may meet many of your friends there too. For future WordCamp events, we’ll make sure to consider a larger venue for our attendees.
I am also posting the Tazzu WordPress Camp schedule. I would like to thank the following 8 people who have stepped forward to share their knowledge with us in this event. If any of the presenters are not happy with their time slot, please let us know and we could perhaps arrange to make changes.

Damn I’m first eh? Intimidating!… not. I’ve never had issues speaking in public.
You have plenty of media sponsors, but I guess I might as well throw in a recap after the fact
@Jeff – You get to open the show for us. Don’t worry we will be there for you buddy!
@Raul – you are my hero man!
If we miss out on a seat we can still squeeze in and sit on the floor right? I’m coming straight from work and won’t be able to get there much earlier than 5.30pm.
@Peter – we can stand up, we can sit on the floor, we can share seats, couples and friends might be able to sit on each other’s laps. I’m sure we’ll make it work somehow!
huh… how exciting! I too will be doing a recap after the Camp on my blog.
Would it be possible for anyone who attended this event to either e-mail me (classylady@earthling.net) or post on here their account of the event through their blog (via URL link) so I may be able to view what transpired. I am asking because I am attending a Wordpress 1-day Camp through Sun Microsystems tomorrow (Sunday, October 5th). I would be very interested in reading up on what the people who attended this prior event witnessed and/or wrote about it. Thank you very much and have a good weekend.
