Our good friend Gerald Bauer is organizing the 2nd Vancouver’s Facebook Developers (& Designers) Garage event at the Vancouver’s film school. The event will take place in Theatre 1 accessible from the main foyer. Reception will be in place to assist all guests.

I attended the previous event and after viewing few quite amazing (and not so amazing) presentations I got to meet some really wonderful people such as Boris Mann, Roland Tanglao, Miss 604, my great business associate Ash Sanieyan, and of course Gerald himself. So this event will not only contribute to your development knowledge, but also a great opportunity to meet some really good people in the Vancouver’s technology and business community.
I will be there taking some pictures and blogging. Let’s see what our town’s developers have been cooking up lately.
Facebook probably has more than 60 million users by now. Some of us spend at least 15 minutes or more there, so it is part of our everyday life. Facebook is also a neat framework for developing web applications, and I know quite a number of developers who develop for Facebook including Gerald, Ash and myself (shameless self promotion!)
Btw: this is Gerald’s website. He is a very experienced Ruby on Rails developer and he has been very active brining the community of Ruby developers together, and Tazzu is gladly collaborating to spread the word.
