Top 10 Online Networking Tips
1. Utilize Your Profile Efficiently
Work your profile! Have a proper avatar, add website links to your signature, and list your preferred title. In a virtual world that is the only way that people can learn more about you, and eventually trust you. Hiding behind a vague image, and username doesn’t mean ‘business’ to most people.

This week I had the opportunity to create a simple web page called saving mom for a 10 year old boy named Tagg.
Tagg contacted me through his Mom - Honnor Moore, a client who quickly became a dear friend.
Over the past 8 years, Tagg has watched his mom struggle with the pain and crippling effects of rheumatoid arthritis. I can’t imagine how difficult this is for him, and how helpless he must feel.
Now, this courageous boy is doing something about it. He is asking for help to raise the funds - $25,000.00 - to get his mom to a special hospital in Mexico, called the Sanoviv Medical Institute.

Hello Tazzu members, here I am reporting to you about yet another splendid get together we had one lovely evening at The Frog & Firkin pub.

As soon as we got there, we were cheerfully greeted by Leah, our long term wonderful member and Forum Moderator. You know Leah as Techno.Chic on the forum, and she had come all the way from California to party with us. Unfortunately many of our regular members couldn’t make it this time for different reasons, which is why I have posted a picture of Leah here to remind you of the great opportunity you’ve missed. See! You could have met her in person like we did!

With Tazzu’s networking meetings being a hit, we figured it was time to schedule another get-together. Everyone is invited - members and non-members!
First, a little Tazzu Networking Party history:
Tazzu’s first official networking meeting was held last winter on Oct. 20th 2006, at the Shark Club in Vancouver. The turn-out was amazing. We even managed to exchange business cards amidst the cheering that was going on for our very own Vancouver Canucks.
Tazzu’s second networking meeting was held on March 26th 2007, at The Frog and Firkin on West Broadway - one of Tazzu’s members turned us on to this venue. The food is great, and the casual atmosphere is perfect for our group.

Tazzu Blog will be down this evening for maintenance from 10:00 to 11:00 PM Pacific time. So if this page didn’t show up please do not panic!
Hello Tazzuians!
I’ve got some numbers here that I would like to share with you. The following are the Google Analytics web stats for Tazzu Forum and Blog over the last month.
Tazzu Forum Stats
During the month of March, 2007 we had 39,117 page views and 4,620 visits to our forum. That would be 8.47 page views per visit. 78.27 % of the traffic is returning visitors, this shows our community member’s loyalty towards each other.
The Geo Map overlay shows a high concentration of visits from North America, but I was glad to see some hits from other countries of the world as well. It would be nice too, in the future if we could attract more members from more countries of the world.

80.04 % of us use Windows, 14.16% use Macs, and 5.67% use Linux. The number of Mac users is higher than what I expected, although I expected to see more Linux users on Tazzu.
