Hello Tazzu Community – by Jen

Jen

Hi Gang! Welcome to Tazzu.com – your new online community hangout.

If you’re reading this, it can only mean that the forum migration was a slammin’ success… thanks to Rastin.

With March 1st being Tazzu’s 6 month Anniversary, what better way is there to celebrate this first milestone (hopefully one of many) than with some ‘growth’.

Speaking of growth, I am excited to announce that Rastin and I have formed an incorporated company together – ‘Tazzu Networking Ltd’. The plans are to develop Tazzu into an innovative tool for members to promote themselves, connect, and share resources and ideas.

The Tazzu Forums will remain as they were: ad-free, offering the community a safe place to network, engage in discussions, debate, seek advise, offer help, receive encouragement, share experiences, gather resources, or simply hang out.

Tazzu will always be about the members, and about building relationships, based on common interests and mutual respect. We will also continue to take pride in maintaining a level of professionalism in the forums.

I personally would like to thank you for a great start. Your support, your encouragement and your participation in the forums have made the first 6 months a blast! :)

My life is richer because of you. Here’s to each and every one… to your success, and another fantastic 6 months. Cheers!

  • This is fantastic! Jen and Rastin you both have done a great job getting Tazzu on it’s feet. And this Blog…I’m sure it will take off as smoothly and successfully as the Forum did.

I am so pleased to be a part of the Tazzu community both as a moderator and a member. Here’s to 6 more fantabulous months….

Anyone that can make it to the Tazzu Networking Party on March 26th…should go and celebrate the success of Tazzu as a company and as a place where friends can meet online and offline.

    Cheers!!!

    Leah

  • Thanks Leah. Rastin is really the master mind behind the new developments.

I’ll miss you at the next Tazzu event, but I’m sure Rastin will take lots of pictures again.
    Cheers,
    Jen

  • Hey Jen and Rastin, congratulations on forming Tazzu Networking Ltd. I’m sure Tazzu will surpass T.V. former success as the best networking community of all time :-)

  • Thank you Vivien. We’ve got a long way to go, however, both Rastin and I dream big, and are very content to take the journey 1 day at a time. We shall see where we’re at in a couple of years!

Thanks so much for your vote of confidence! :)

    Cheers,
    Jen

  • So now that everything’s all growthy and corporatey and official, are we going to have a business casual dress code at the F2F, will it be suit and tie, or can I still wear an old Iron Maiden t-shirt and ripped jeans?

Here’s to Tazzu Ltd. having the right to get hoity-toity (not that it will) if it wants to! [Picturing green monster in a three-piece pinstripe suit with pocketwatch and monocle]

  • lol @ hoity-toity! Not only does it sound funny, it looks funny.

Nay nay – no business suits required.

Actually, I recently attended a networking meeting where the speaker claimed that the business people with real money don’t typically wear suits to networking events. They are avoiding the ‘networking sharks’ that judge their potential victims by their attire.

Ripped jeans, black t-shirts and nikes are now required networking attire!

Thanks for your support and encouragement Jeremy! :)

    Cheers,
    Jen

  • “are we going to have a business casual dress code at the F2F, will it be suit and tie, or can I still wear an old Iron Maiden t-shirt and ripped jeans?”

Oh no! god no! I happen to enjoy dressing up myself, but I also enjoy wearing the GAP ripped jeans. I guess I look how everybody does it, so I can do the opposite.

  • This is fantastic. I know how verbally creative you are. I can’t wait to read more of your postings. I see this blog as an extension of the good things at Tazzu.com. Keep up the good work and all the best.

  • Thanks Businesstech. :)

If only I could be 1/10th as witty as Jeremy, I’d start writing for a living.

None-the-less, I’ll put on my training wheels, slap an “N” on my back, and subject the Tazzu members to my learning curve!

Thanks again Businesstech for the hard work you’ve put into Tazzu’s press release and subsequent media.

    Cheers,
    Jen

  • Can I get a WOOT WOOT!!

Fantastico to both of you!…So wonderful to see people exploring all their potential!

    Regards
    Liesa!

  • WOOT WOOT! for you Liesa!

Thank you for the kind words.

  • Congratulations Jen. by the way where is the party and are outsiders welcome? torn jeans and all?

  • Hello and thank you Johanna, :)

I assume by ‘outsiders’, you’re not referring to little green martians or the likes.

If not, then yes outsiders are welcome. Besides we’re holding the event at a place that calls itself The Frog and Firkin – aliens are probably very welcome there.

Dress is whatever you feel like wearing. The event is March 26th. RSVP me if you think you’ll be able to attend.

    Ciao! ;)

  • Jen,

Thanks for all your hard work. You’re a lovely lady. I look forward to meeting you on the 26th! God bless,

    Leanne

  • Hi Leanne, thanks for your kind words.

It’s going to be great to finally meet you in person. See you on the 26th!

    Jen
